Plover River Trail closed, May 22

The Plover River Trail section of the Green Circle will be CLOSED on Friday, May 22 for clean up work that is part of a tree clearing project adjacent to the Stevens Point Municipal Airport. Heavy machinery will be on and along the trail during this time. For your safety, please stay off of the trail section and out of the construction zone. See the map below for details.
The trail we be reopened for the weekend. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Plover River Trail detour

A portion of the Plover River Trail that parallels Barbara’s Lane will be CLOSED from December 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026 due to construction on the Plover River Crossing project. Follow the marked detour along Barbara’s Lane (see map below for details).

We’re excited to see this project become a reality! The Plover River Crossing will be a spur of the Green Circle that connects the east and west sides of Stevens Point and the Town of Hull. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/ploverrivercrossing/
