Portions of the Green Circle Trail through Schmeeckle Reserve will be CLOSED from Thursday, November 13 to Friday, November 21. The trail will be open during the weekend of Nov. 15-16, but the surface will be soft, so bicycles aren’t recommended. The entire University Trail segment is being resurfaced and widened with a fresh layer of crushed granite. A new trail reroute near the Berard Oaks is also being constructed to eliminate two sharp curves. Heavy machinery will be on the trail during this time. For your safety, obey all signs and do not enter any closed sections of trail. Follow the detour/Pet Route along North Point Drive (see map).

A portion of the Paper Mill Trail in the Village of Whiting will be CLOSED until the middle of November, due to utility installation on the south side of Sherman Avenue. The detour will follow Whiting Road to bypass the trail section on the old paper mill land near the river. For your safety, please follow the detour signs. A map is included below.

A portion of the Iverson Park Trail that runs on Village of Park Ridge streets (west of the park) is currently being detoured due to road construction in the village. A current map of the detour is below, but the route will change as construction progresses. For your safety, please follow all detour signs.
